What is being decided
The State Corporation Commission takes public comment in Northern Virginia on NextEra Energy's proposed acquisition of Dominion Energy, the parent of the utility that serves most of Loudoun. It is the only in-person hearing on the case in Northern Virginia.
How to take part
Come to the hearing to speak. If you cannot attend, you can testify by phone on Nov. 5, 9 or 10 (register by Nov. 2), or send written comments by Nov. 9 through the SCC comment page. Every comment must refer to Case No. PUR-2026-00112.
