All parcel data comes from Loudoun County GIS: the Existing Data Center Parcel and Pipeline Data Center Areas layers, and the Data Center Building Outlines. We refresh it every morning. We change the county data only mechanically: each parcel is shown as a point at the center of its largest piece; the county’s built status becomes Operating or Under construction, and every pipeline record is Proposed; parcels the county splits into pieces are merged back into one; proposed parcels are placed in an election district by their location. Filings come from the county’s LOLA case list: every case since January 2025 whose name or description mentions data centers.
The owner shown is the owner of record in county land records. It is often a holding company rather than the company running the facility, it can be out of date, and it does not establish who is responsible for any condition. Treat it as a starting point for research.
